Check out “The Hills” star Kristin Cavallari in these pictures:

This girl sure knows how to dress up a simple ‘jeans and white T-shirt’ outfit. That bright red scarf did the trick, of course. Trust the good ‘ol scarf to give even the most casual of looks an immediate upgrade.
So learn a thing or two from Kristin and do the same with your plain and boring outfits, dress them up with a scarf and give your appearance a quick but chic promotion.
The scarf on Kristin is by Nepali called the Bambi Bobi Scarf. If you want one, just visit Singer22.com. It is priced a little higher than most scarves, going at US$95, but the piece is quite versatile and the color is fabulous so it will definitely take you a long way.
Besides, it will be a small price to pay for looking like a celebrity once you put it on.

Seen Lucy Liu lately? You know, one of “Charlie’s Angels”? Well, apparently this Chinese beauty has a new movie called East 5th Bliss and she was spotted filming it in New York last month with co-star Michael C. Hall.
Now whoever styled her for this film did quite a job because she looks vibrant and beautiful in this picture:

I love the mix of colors – bright blue and black printed dress with a beige bomber jacket and a dash of pink around her neck. Lovely. The baby pink printed scarf is doing wonders to her face and her skin. It’s a beautiful contrast to her dark hair too. Did I mention I also like how the prints are being mixed in her outfit?
You think you can pull off a colorful look like this one? Well, how about it if you try? I did some searching and found these pieces from Shopbop.com that you can work with:
