Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are pretty much going strong these days. Most often than not, we don’t see one without the other. The couple was spotted out and about town last June 17 and here’s a shot of Miley while she stopped by to sign some autographs.

I like the casual get up – jeans and T-shirt; and I like how she dressed it up with a piece of patterned scarf, it’s very chic.

By the way, I know this is off-topic, but I also couldn’t help but notice the fringed pen in her hand, how cute is that?

I probably already sound like a broken record, but I’m going to say it again – a scarf always dresses up a plain look. In Miley’s case, she opted for a patterned scarf.

One of our favorite scarf wearing celebrities was spotted arriving in Sydney – Nicole Richie. And this time, she chose to wear a rich green silk number around her neck.

This is my first time to see Nicole wear a silk scarf, and I must say, I like it. It looks great against the color of her hat; and with the sunglasses, she looks like someone straight out of the 60′s. It’s definitely a great way to dress up a jacket and jeans attire too.

Depending on the size, a silk scarf can be used around your neck, as a hair accessory, as a bracelet, or even as a bag accessory as popularized by Jane Birkin. Plain ones are of course, much more versatile than printed silk. But both will make you look fabulous.
