Eva Mendes Color Coordinates and Covers Up!

This post is a tad late, but no matter. Eva Mendes is here today not because of her outfit, which is clearly nothing spectacular, but because of that printed scarf. And well, also because these photos look interesting. I mean, doesn’t it make you wonder why she’s trying to cover her pretty face? These were taken early this month, when the actress was spotted leaving a resto after having dinner with actress January Jones:

Now although the outfit is indeed nothing special, you have to give her some thumbs up for color coordinating and pairing it with a printed scarf in the same palette. And speaking of that scarf, don’t you think the print looks very familiar? Pucci perhaps? What do you think?

I couldn’t find any information on Eva’s scarf anywhere online, but if you like it, you can always grab a Pucci. Try this one from FarFetch:

And if that’s just too pricey for you, here’s an alternative you can try from Amazon. It doesn’t exactly have the same pattern as Eva’s scarf, but the palette is close:

Fashionista Olivia Palermo was spotted out and about in New York with her beau last week. And while her outfit looked a lot simpler than usual, she spiced it up with a few accessories that made it extra special. Olivia paired her black longsleeve tee + skinny jeans + flats ensemble with a stunning cognac colored tote (more about the tote on this post) and a cute polka dotted scarf for that added flair.

As you can see from the sequence of pictures, she kept the scarf inside her bag and then eventually took it out and wore it (last picture). All I can say is, the moment she put it on, it made a huge difference. Don’t get me wrong, she already looked fabulous without it, but she looked way better with the scarf.

Per sources, that scarf is from Zara. I couldn’t find it online but you are welcome to visit the Zara store in your area to check if it’s available there. The retail price of Zara scarves starts at USD30 so it’s actually quite affordable.

I also found alternatives in case you can’t find the Zara. The black one with white dots from Red Carpet Studios does not have dots as fine as Olivia’s Zara but it’s a good enough substitute I think. Also, I found one with finer, smaller dots but it’s in white. The good thing about these subs (substitute) is that they are both priced under USD20. You can find these scarves at Amazon:

Red Carpet Studios Black & White Polka Dotted Scarf with Fringe, USD8.95
