New York Times Hails the Scarf as the “Ultimate Multitasker”
Hi lovelies! We would just like to share with you this wonderful article from The New York Times. They wrote a feature entitled, “It’s a Turban, It’s a Dress (It’s a Scarf)”, in their Fashion & Lifestyle section the other week (May 25) and it really caught our attention. The article talked about how the scarf has achieved the amazing status of becoming more than just a neck accessory in the world of fashion. In fact, the author of the article, Ruth La Ferla, even appropriately dubbed the scarf as fashion’s “ultimate multitasker” (click here to read article).
True indeed. There’s more to the scarf than meets the eye. For scarf fanatics like us, this article not only highlights the value of a scarf, but it also emphasizes what ScarvesWraps is all about. We love scarves because of its patterns, prints, uses, and how it can actually stylize a rather boring look. Scarves are pieces of art that give great value as it can be worn in so many ways – as a skirt, as a sarong, as a cover-up, as a cape, as a dress, as a head band, as a turban, as a bag accessory, and the list goes on and on.
Simply put, the fact that it is a stylish “multitasker“ is the reason why we here at ScarvesWraps are so crazy about it. That said, if you’re a true blue scarf fanatic, we recommend that you continue to grow your collection of scarves. Here are a couple of “works of art” that you can add into your inventory of scarves. These are quite fresh and perfect for summer. Enjoy!
