Remember that Trina Turk Sweater Scarf we featured two weeks ago? That one had an infinity scarf permanently attached to it, did you like that piece? Well, in case you did, here’s another one for you – the Michael Kors Striped Scarf + Sweater Combo. I’m a sucker for stripes and for black & white combinations so when I saw this set, it was love at first sight. But that aside, I seriously think this is more versatile compared to the Trina Turk simply because the scarf is not attached permanently to the sweater.

Of course, since this is a designer combo, expect a shocking price tag to go with it. The scarf for instance, retails at a high USD395. It’s cashmere by the way, so definitely a cozy one to have. The sweater on the other hand, which is also made of cashmere, is an even more expensive USD1195. If you add that together, you’ll be paying almost USD1600 for the set!

Ok, that sounds pretty ridiculous to me but if you can afford it, feel free to shop for it at Neiman Marcus. As for me, I think I will have to resort to a little improvisation. For instance, I can just grab a more affordable black and white striped sweater and purchase a matching but also pocket friendly black and white scarf! Check the pieces I found below. True, it won’t be made of cashmere but so what?
