Last week, I wrote about Amy Winehouse and how she wears the scarf as a headband. Here are other ways you can wear it on your head, as seen on these hot celebrities:

As a headband with a pony or with your hair down; Let the ends hang loose along with your hair.

For this you will need a longer but thinner (narrower, about 6 to 12 inches) scarf.

Blake Lively as Serena Van Der Woodsen

Lacey Chabert

As a good ol’ bandanna tied around and over the head and forehead. If you want the ends to hang loose, get a long scarf. Otherwise, you can stick with the square bandanna scarf.

Nicole Richie

Beyonce Knowles

As a scarf bun as seen on JLo. Simply put the scarf over your head, twist it along with your hair (like you’re creating a bun), than tuck the ends under.

For this one, use a wider scarf (about 18 inches wide) with some stretch in it.

Jennifer Lopez

Lucille Ball style. This one is very similar to the way Amy Winehouse wore it, except that the scarf is not twisted and the hair is up.

Kylie Minogue

For long scarves, you can try these:

Missoni Zigzag Scarf, on sale for US$161; Ashley Ashoff Pop Champagne Scarf, US$225; Missoni Striped Scarf, on sale for US$139;

If you want JLo’s scarf bun look, you can try these stretchable jersey scarves:

Adam Lambert Wraps Up

Here’s a picture of Adam Lambert taken last January while he was in Toronto.

The American Idol runner-up kept himself warm with a wool wrap as he exited the venue where he promoted his album. Now tell me, how often do you see a guy wear a wrap while walking on the street?

But then again, that’s Adam Lambert, a guy who wears eyeliners.

Now sexual orientation aside, I do think a guy should be allowed to cover himself with a wrap if he wants to. I mean there’s no point in worrying whether it looks silly or not if you’re already freezing, right?

Wool made wraps and scarves are great for keeping warm when the weather is extra cold, especially during winter. You can wrap it around you like the way Adam did, or wrap it around your neck like a scarf.

Now although it is spring, you can actually still wear wool wraps or scarves but choose the thinner and lighter ones such as the items I’ve posted below.
