Jennifer Lopez Archives

While Jennifer Lopez may now be  without a husband, she definitely isn’t without a career. In fact, the actress and singer is currently busy filming her new movie, What to Expect When You’re Expecting. And guess what? Her character in the movie is a scarf fanatic! Check out these behind the scene stills we found (care of JustJared):

What do you think of Jen’s two looks? Better yet, what do you think of her character’s scarves? The first one looks tie dyed and crushed while the second looks paint washed. Both however, look very cozy and comfy. We currently have no information on those two scarves but if you’re interested in something similar, here are a couple of crushed pieces from the brand, IMPROVD. These are all made in India, made of 100% viscose material, AND they’re on sale! You can find these at Tobi and as you can see, each one will only cost you less than USD25.

You’ve probably heard of this news already. Jennifer Lopez had a wardrobe malfunction while guesting on a German talk show in Spain the other week. And while the  nip slip was what everyone else was talking about, we here at ScarvesWraps however, were too busy loving the outfit  she wore that we pretty much didn’t notice anything else. She had on a lovely printed maxi dress that day, but what gave her look the extra oomph factor was the scarf wrapped like a bandanna around her forehead. Check out these pics:

Doesn’t she look fabulous? Her print on print ensemble looks harmonious and perfect and she looks like a gypsy goddess! It’s also amazing how an accessory such as a scarf (or in this case, a bandanna), can make a HUGE difference in an outfit.

How about you, would you be willing to wear that scarf of yours as a bandanna to give your style a whole new flavor? Or perhaps our question should be, would you rock a bandanna yourself?

You can easily copy Jennifer’s style by grabbing a smaller scarf, a square one in the same color palette as the printed dress you’re going to wear. The scarf from Madewell below is a great example. To complete your look, pair it with a blue printed dress, a tan belt, some platform sandals, and you’re pretty much all set!
