Winter outfits tend to be on the dark side. Monotone hues are practical and easy to match with other pieces of clothing one already has. Scarves are a great way to cheer up those gloomy outfits. Anthropologie has one of the most unique and colorful scarf collections– classy and even below the $60 mark! It was difficult to pick a favorite so we came up with four– check them out!
Glass Garden Scarf, $58
This gauzy wool-silk scarf features a stain-glass type of design: rich, luminescent flowers that bleed color, separated by leaded tracings to form an organized mess of an unlikely bouquet.
Dawn to Dusk Scarf, $48
The dawn is depicted in orange-yellow blossoms that become darker towards the ends of the scarf– tiny globes of color arranged in the dark, unpredictable pattern of the night.
Neroli Scarf, $58
A vintage-inspired illustration of orange, blue and yellow flowers paint this canvas-colored wool silk scarf a dream-like design.
Solaris Scarf, $58
Striking, multi-colored shapes cover the length of this tasseled silk scarf and give a unique, slightly more mature design.

We were inspired to re-visit Free People after Tonya of The Moptop showed us the scarves she wanted to purchase from the store. We looked through Free People’s inventory and we simply felt like a kid in a candy shop. We even had to stop ourselves from wanting to grab every single piece of scarf or wrap available.
On a side note, we also chanced upon a couple of interesting pieces that offered a little more than the usual, and so we thought, why not feature those today instead? Check out these one of a kind scarves from Free People and tell us which you’d love to wear:
Jeweled Scarf
First on the list is this thin piece of jeweled and chain detailed chiffon from Chan Luu. It can work as a decorative scarf, as a head piece, or even as a bracelet. Quite unique and versatile don’t you think? Though it definitely will not keep you warm and cozy…

Fringes Forever

Frayed Fashion
Another piece of scarf that is heavily fringed. However, this one features a more unique construction – a loosely woven texture that gives the scarf more dimension. What do you think?
